WHAT DOES THE DONATED MONEY BUY?
The money that is received by the Kids Lift Foundation is used to purchase special gifts, such as bicycles, microscopes, and other items which are requested by the parents of the child. For example, in 2000, Broadslate Networks conducted a company drive to raise $1300 for the purchase of bicycles and helmets from Wal-Mart at discounted prices and VHPS donated over $2000 worth of books. A company may give a designated amount to purchase a particular item.
